15U-AA Tryouts 2023

For any player wishing to tryout for 15U-AA, please see the information below.

Wednesday, March 1 from 6:30- 8pm @ Forest Grove Elementary School (8525 Forest Grove Drive)

Thursday, March 2 from 6:30 – 8pm @ Cameron Elementary School (9540 Erickson Drive)

Monday, March 6 from 7pm – 9pm Capital Hill Elementary School, 350 Holdom Ave, Burnaby, BC V5B 3V1

Tuesday, March 7 from 6 – 7:30 – Seaforth Elementary School, 7881 Government Rd, Burnaby, BC V5A 2C9

Players must attend a minimum of two dates (not including March 7), please confirm attendance of which dates you will attend, please complete the following:  https://forms.office.com/r/5kPJes2adQ

Players wishing to tryout our for BBA’s 15U-AA team and reside outside BBA’s boundaries, must obtain a tryout release (ASAP), we are allowed 3 import players.  Approved tryout release must be obtained before attending the first tryout (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScVbF5qd2t-jLHq9VjwwHt9ykQxakjyyxmjxvuhdJyGTTRasw/viewform)

15U-AA (Rep) Team Information:  

• AAis a single season team (April – August), travel is involved to the island and interior. This team will have extra expenses including travel costs (ferries, hotels, etc.) including, but not limited to extra uniform items, coaches’ fees (if non-parents), tournaments, umpire fees, etc., above the base registration fee.
  • Season is 9-person ball 
  • Games will be mainly Double Header weekends (2-4 games) and some weeknight games with teams in the lower mainland. 
  • Maximum roster is 15 players (minimum 12 player)
    • The maximum import players (outside BBA’s boundaries) is 3.
  • No Fair Play rule applies, and all players/families will need to sign form once confirmed placement on the team. 
  • BCMBA Wild Card tournament – July 22 and 23 (location TBD). 
  • BCMBA Provincial (15U-AA) – July 27 – 31 (August 1 in case of rain).
    • Host – Nanaimo 
  • Baseball BC Qualifier – August 4 – 6 (winner goes to Westerns)
    • Host – White Rock (South Surrey Athletic Park)
      • Westerns – August 18-20
        • Host Kelowna

Coach will be Danny Parkinson, Assistant coach(es) to be announced once roster has been finalized.
